Coprosma repens - looking glass plant, taupata - coastal shelter hedge

Coprosma repens, or taupata is very tough growing coastally and can stand very high winds and salt spray. Inland it can suffer from heavy frosts. Grows to 3m tall but can be kept clipped to 1m. Very shiny leaves make this an attractive evergreen hedge plant.
