A deciduous shrub from Japan.

Although Deutzia gracilis needs shelter from strong winds, it is a very hardy plant and easily grown.It has a spreading habit, forming a neat mount up to 1.5m tall when mature. Easily clipped.

Pink buds open to reveal masses of white flowers in late Spring.
