It looks a bit like a
bamboo, but it's not.
Growing to 2m tall max, this shrub likes to slowly spread by suckers,
forming clumps and colonies without being invasive.
The stiff evergreen leaves
are firey-red as they emerge, and the whole plant often takes on
a reddish hue through the winter months.
White clusters of flowers
are followed by many bright red berries which are long-lasting and
highly attractive.
